Lord God of peace, hear our prayer!
We have tried so many times and over so many years to resolve our conflicts by our own powers and by the force of our arms. How many moments of hostility and darkness have we experienced; how much blood has been shed; how many lives have been shattered; how many hopes have been buried…But our efforts have been in vain.
LOFT, our group for the Young People in our parish began again on Sunday 22nd September in the room above St Comgall’s Sacristy. Last year we got off to a great start – we had great fun together: from spending a few days in the outdoors of Ballycastle to our prayful performance of the Way of the Cross on Good Friday, along with the many Sunday evenings.
We extend a warm welcome to new members! Age 15 plus

Sing High or Sing Low but are you willing to sing with one of the choirs that enhance our liturgy in the parish? If you are, your help, support and voice would be very welcome. All you need to do is to speak to any of the choir members after mass. Thank you to the choirs and organists for their service to the parish community.
You are asked not to park at the front of St. Joseph’s Parochial House. Last week the priest was not able to get his car out during the 5.30pm Vigil Mass and could not attend to his duties on time.
The PSNI have advised that parishioners who park on the footpath in front of St.Comgall’s
while attending Church are liable to prosecution.
Readers are urgently required for the 5.30pm Saturday Vigil Mass in St Joseph’s Church.
